Branching Out Training are qualified forest school training providers.
The benefits of forest school
Forest school is beneficial for children in so many ways. One of the greatest benefits of regular forest school sessions is helping children to develop essential life skills such as resilience and communication. The forest environment is ideal for promoting holistic child development through assessing risk and problem solving. Children who receive consistent, quality forest school sessions develop their self-confidence and self-esteem. For children who have additional social and emotional needs, forest school can also be extremely beneficial.
Accredited Training with Branching Out Training
Branching Out Training are pleased to offer the Level 2 Outdoor Learning Practitioner training course and the level 3 Forest School Leader course for schools, nurseries and pre-schools, delivered in association with UK training network Cambium and accredited by Agored Cymru. The courses are designed to support those within the education sector who wish to develop quality outdoor learning experiences to the children and young people in their care.
At all Branching Out Training forest school training courses, our focus is on delivering forest school within the school context. Attendees learn how to implement forest school within their own settings whilst gaining a valuable qualification.
